RTVE – RNE Audio: La Negra MaytéMayte Martínez is the voice of La Negra Mayté, a band based in Málaga. A couple of years ago they released the CD Akoplarse in which they took the copla to their own terrain, dominated by new soul, and also covered other pop classics in a rather peculiar way. These days they are releasing their version of an American Christmas classic while they are preparing a new studio album, which will possibly be released in the spring.
